4 Accessories To Wear At The Next Country Music Festival

Posted on

Summer is finally here, which means it's time to have lots of fun in the sun. If you love country music, one of the best ways to enjoy the summer weather is attending outdoor country music festivals. No matter who your favorite country music artist is, outdoor music festivals are a great way to socialize with your friends and meet new people.

If you'll be heading to the one of many country music festivals this summer, you'll be sure to want to bring along these four must-have accessories.

1. Cowboy Hat

Have you noticed that a lot of country music artists, especially males, wear cowboy hats? You may have also noticed that many of the fans who attend country music concerts wear them as well. Even though you might not be a real cowboy or cowgirl, if you want to fit in with the crowd, country music cowboy hats are definitely a must-have. Not only will these hats make you look like the real deal, they can provide protection from the sun and wind.

2. Boots

Most cowboys wear boots because it's safer to ride a horse with footwear that has a heel. This prevents the entire foot from slipping through the stirrup on the saddle. Country music artists, as well as their fans, probably aren't wearing boots to ride a horse, instead they are making a fashion statement. Whether you wear them to look cool or not, boots are a great thing to wear to a country music festival as they provide better protection for your feet than sandals do.

3. Sunglasses

Since you're going to be spending most of your time outdoors, you will want to protect your eyes from the sun. One way to do this is with a cool pair of shades. You want to keep in mind, however, that not just any pair of sunglasses will do. In order to offer maximum protection for your eyes, you'll want to make sure the sunglasses block 100% of ultraviolet (UV) rays. You should also keep in mind that just because sunglasses have darker lenses, it doesn't mean they protect your eyes from the sun better than lighter-colored lenses.

4. Jacket

When spending a lot of time outdoors, you should always prepare for less-than-perfect weather. This is why it's a good idea to bring along a jacket. Some of the trendiest jacket styles include:

  • Leather jacket
  • Denim jacket
  • Trench coat jacket
  • Military-inspired jacket

If you can't bring yourself to wear a jacket in the summer, a hooded sweatshirt is the next best thing.
