We believe in simplicity when it comes to shipping fees. Rather than calculating costs based on weight or dimensions, which can be confusing for complex orders involving different types of pet gear, we implement a straightforward flat-rate system.

3. Order Processing and Delivery Timelines

Our logistics process is divided into two distinct phases: Handling Time and Transit Time. Understanding these phases will help you estimate when your package will arrive.

Order Cut-off Time:

  • Time: 5:00 PM (EST)

  • Days: Monday through Friday

Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST on a business day will begin processing that same day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends/holidays, will begin processing on the following business day.

4. Delivery Services and Carriers

5. Order Tracking

We believe that keeping our customers informed is a vital part of the service we provide. Once your order has been processed and handed over to the carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will contain:

Please allow approximately 24 hours for the tracking information to update once the package has been scanned by the carrier.

6. Shipping Address and Delivery Details

We can only modify shipping addresses if the order has not yet entered the fulfillment process.

While most shipments arrive within the estimated 3–7 business day window, occasionally delays can occur due to external factors such as weather or carrier peak seasons.

  • Missing Shipments: If your tracking information shows no movement for more than 3 business days, please reach out to our support team.

  • Damaged Items: If your pet products arrive damaged, please document the damage with photographs and email us at support@lordofdot.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Delivered but Missing: If the carrier marks your package as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend checking with neighbors or building management before contacting the carrier to open a claim.

8. Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Because we aim for a 1-day handling time, there is a very narrow window for cancellations. Once the order has been processed for shipping, it cannot be canceled and must be handled as a return according to our standard return policy.

9. Holiday Shipping

During peak holiday seasons, carriers may experience higher volumes than usual, which can lead to extended transit times. We recommend placing orders for gifts and essential pet supplies well in advance during these periods. We will update our website with any specific holiday cut-off dates to help you plan your purchases accordingly.
